Malibu Surfboards was founded in 2010 in Malibu, starting from a small shaping shack nestled in the hills overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Inspired by the laid-back lifestyle of Malibu and its local vibe, Malibu Surfboards lifestyle apparel was born.

Over the past decade, locals, visitors, and celebrities worldwide have been spotted sporting the brand. We've been featured in Kitson Malibu, Kitson on Robertson, M Fredric stores, and numerous boutique shops along the California coast. With over 15 million visitors flocking to Malibu annually, we've become a staple of the area, boasting two local retail locations: one at the renowned Malibu Pier and the other at the Village Shops of Malibu.

At Malibu Surfboards, we believe in giving back to our community and supporting local charities and foundations. Such as the Stuart House Foundation, local schools and have engaged in limited ventures with the John Varvatos brand.
